09:00 AM – Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your descent 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Explore the lush crater floor, which hosts over 25,000 large mammals including lions, elephants, zebras, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and potentially the elusive black rhino.
Duration: 5–6 hours (including picnic lunch inside the crater)
01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch at Hippo Pool Site
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a safe, scenic spot inside the crater surrounded by hippos and birdlife.
02:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive & Ascent
Continue game viewing while exiting the crater via Lerai Forest or Munge River route, depending on sightings and weather conditions.
03:30 PM – Drive Back to Arusha
Relax and reflect on your incredible wildlife experience as we drive you safely back to your hotel.
06:00 PM – Drop-off at Hotel or Airport
