These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services and apply to all bookings made with Ibhanilfa Safaris. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
Booking Agreement
A reservation is considered confirmed once your deposit or full payment is received. You will receive a personalized confirmation email with your full itinerary, booking reference, and essential travel details within 24 hours of payment.
Pricing & Inclusions
Our safari packages are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and include all accommodation, park and conservation fees, private transport, full-board meals, and the services of a professional guide, as detailed in your itinerary.
Exclusions typically include international airfare, visa costs, personal travel insurance, discretionary tips, and personal purchases, unless specifically included in your custom quote.
Payment Terms
We aim to make the booking process as smooth and secure as your safari experience. These payment terms are designed to ensure the best planning, reservation security, and value for your journey.
To confirm your reservation, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is used to secure accommodations, park permits, and essential logistics, and is therefore non-refundable in most cases.
The remaining balance (70%) must be paid in full no later than 30 days before your scheduled safari start date.
For bookings confirmed less than 30 days prior to travel, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
In special cases, deposits may be transferred to future dates, subject to availability and written agreement.
For group bookings or East African resident travelers, flexible payment plans may be arranged upon request.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to our Booking Policy. Where applicable, approved refunds are processed in USD within 14 business days from the official confirmation of cancellation.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation services, and baggage loss or delays.
Please note that Ibhanilfa Safaris does not provide coverage for medical costs, personal accidents, or emergency evacuations during your trip.
Liability Disclaimer
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure your safety, comfort, and satisfaction, Ibhanilfa Safaris cannot accept responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our control.
This includes, but is not limited to, natural events, unpredictable wildlife behavior, travel delays, or changes in government policies and entry requirements.
Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political instability, Ibhanilfa Safaris reserves the right to cancel or adjust your itinerary. We are committed to handling such situations with fairness and transparency.
Health & Safety
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and meet all vaccination and entry requirements mandated by the Governments of Tanzania and Zanzibar prior to travel.
We strongly recommend consulting with a healthcare professional and obtaining any necessary vaccinations well in advance of your trip to ensure a safe and enjoyable safari experience.
Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information. Your data is collected solely for the purpose of providing our services, maintaining communication, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from your booking or use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
