At Ibhanilfa Safaris, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to remain clear, fair, and aligned with international travel standards while also protecting the guides, communities, conservation efforts, and operational teams that make every safari possible.
Every confirmed safari requires advance preparation, reservations, staffing, permits, and logistical coordination in Tanzania or across multiple regions of East Africa. These timelines allow us to deliver journeys with consistency, professionalism, and care.

Securing Your Journey
A 30% deposit of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking. This secures accommodations, specialist guides, transportation logistics, permits, and operational planning across your journey.
Final Payment Timeline
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. For short-notice bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment or a minimum 50% upfront deposit may be required to guarantee availability.
Every payment contributes not only to your safari experience, but also to wildlife conservation and community initiatives through the Ibhanilfa Global Impact Foundation.
Early reservations are strongly encouraged to secure availability during high-demand travel periods and support sustainable operational planning.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Our team remains available to review postponements, amendments, and special requests wherever possible.
A Policy Designed Around Long-Term Sustainability
This policy is not simply transactional. It reflects our commitment to operational integrity, fair partnerships, conservation continuity, and the many people who make every safari possible behind the scenes.
